You will find the people here warm and receptive, as well as eager to be the extended body of Christ to the community around us.
Our purpose is to engage people from all over the Houston area to unite in worship and see souls saved while telling the powerful message of the love that Christ has for us. It’s a love that caused Him to die on the cross for our sin; that gives hope through the power of the resurrection; that sets in motion our passion to live for Him.
Whether you are new to the area or in search of a new church home, Praise Chapel has ministries in place that serve the entire family and provide numerous opportunities for involvement. Our Church is about connecting people to Christ and in relationship with each other.
You and your family are invited to join us as we share in the life changing impact of scripture and the life changing influence of being a true follower of Jesus Christ.
Worship
This time is set aside for communicating with God from our hearts. We have live upbeat worship with guitars, drums, piano -the works, as well as intimate songs of worship. Everyone worships in their own unique way – for many, that means singing, clapping and raising their hands, and for others it means quietly reflecting on the words. At Praise Chapel, you’re welcome to do what comes from the heart in praise to God.
Praying For The Sick
Here at Praise Chapel we believe that JESUS still heals so we take time at every service to pray for the sick and see GOD do constant miracles. Our GOD is just looking for opportunities to show that HE is still alive and this is one of HIS favorites.
- We Believe in one God, who exists in three Persons — the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is loving, holy and just.
- We Believe that the Bible is God’s Word. It is inspired and accurate. It is our perfect guide in all matters of life.
- We Believe that sin has separated us all from God, and that only through Jesus Christ can we be reconciled to God.
- We Believe that Jesus Christ is both God and Man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He led a sinless life, took all our sins upon Himself, died and rose again. Today, He is seated at the right hand of the Father as our High Priest and Mediator.
- We Believe that salvation is the gift of God to man. This gift is reached by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and it results in works pleasing to God.
- We Believe that water baptism is a symbol of the cleansing power of God and a testimony of our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
- We Believe that the Holy Spirit is our Comforter. He guides us in all areas of our lives. He also blesses us with spiritual gifts and empowers us to yield the fruit of the Spirit.
- We Believe that the Holy Communion is a celebration of Jesus’ death and our remembrance of Him.
- We Believe that God wants to transform, heal and prosper us, so that we can live blessed and victorious lives that will impact and help others.
- We Believe that we are called to preach the gospel to all nations.
We Believe that our Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again just as He promised.
